MATHEMATICAL PHYSICS MODELLING FOR ENGINEERING AND APPLIED SCIENCES
ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION

Mathematical modeling of complex multiphysical phenomena for applications in engineering  and in applied sciences, in particular for industry 4.0, space science and precision medicine. The group's skills include:

  • development of data-driven models for industry 4.0.
  • modeling of active soft matter, biological tissues, porous media, multiphase fluids and complex flows, rarefied gases, liquid crystals.
  • predictive models of personalized medicine informed by clinical data and machine learning methods to support medical decisions.
  • wave propagation, fluid dynamic instability and turbulence.
