The 2015 SIMAI prize has been awarded to Paola Antonietti, of the Department of Mathematics of Politecnico di Milano. The prize is given to a young researcher who has given outstanding contributions in the field of applied and industrial mathematics. The selection was made by a international panel of mathematicians belonging to European societies of applied mathematics.
