Our PhD program focuses on all aspects of pure and applied mathematics (algebra, geometry, analysis, probability, mathematical physics, numerical analysis, statistics and quantitative finance). The research activities of the mathematics department are an established excellence both at the national and international level, and perspective candidates will have the opportunity of developing their research and teaching skills in a vibrating and engaging environment. See the message from our coordinator, Prof. Michele Correggi, for further details.
The call is part of the nationwide call for the XLI PhD cycle. Successful candidates are expected to start their activities in September, and must held a Master degree or equivalent title by September 11, 2025. Additional calls will be opened later in the academic year for candidates that are not eligible for this call, and will also be advertised on this website.
