On 23 March 2026, approximately 100 students from the Applied Mathematics and Physics programme at NTNU visited the MOX Laboratory of the Department of Mathematics as part of their Student Excursion programme. A sincere expression of gratitude is extended to Politecnico di Milano for its support and for the trust placed in this initiative.
Special thanks to
- Stefano Ronchi, Vice Rector for Education and Learning, for delivering the institutional welcome and for his words of appreciation;
- Monica Riva, Chair of the ENHANCE Advisory Assembly, for her insightful presentation of the ENHANCE Alliance.
- Anna Scotti, Marco Verani, and Domenico Brunetto for designing and conducting the hands-on laboratory activity centred on our MOOC “Computational Science & Computational Learning with Python and MATLAB”, which provided NTNU students with an engaging and practical learning experience.
- Our young researchers, Ivan Fumagalli, Teresa Bortolotti, and Sara Gazzoni, for their excellent scientific presentations and for the enthusiasm they conveyed throughout the programme.
- Our Postdoctoral and doctoral students, Giovanni Ziarelli, Tommaso Andena, Stefano Bonetti, Sofia Botti, Alessandra Cancrini, Beatrice Caon, Davide Carrara, Francesco Daniele, Nicola De March, Valentina Pederzoli, and Riccardo Petrucci, for contributing to an authentic “Politecnico lunch” experience, fostering both academic exchange and a strong sense of community.
Last but not least, sincere thanks are extended to the NTNU Student Excursion programme coordinators, Andrè Massing and Raffaela Cabriolu, for selecting the MOX Laboratory as a destination for this year’s visit.
