Kernel Methods for Support Estimation

In this talk I will present a new class of estimators for the support of a probability distribution. The algorithm is based on a low pass filter and on a suitable Mercer kernel. I will show that the estimators are strongly consistent and I will provide some numerical experiments both on real and synthetic data.
