MOX Seminar

On the Implementation of Non-Newtonian Models for Blood Flow Problems

Tomas Bodnar, Czech Technical University of Prague
Aula Seminari MOX-6° piano dip di matematica
Abstract

The following subjects will be discussed:
1) Generalized shear-thinning Navier-Stokes models
2) Oldroyd type viscoelastic models and their generalization
3) Implementation of models into finite-volume code and into LifeV
4) Comparison of results obtained with different models for simple 3D case
5) Possible coupling with biochemistry of clot formation
6) Near-future plans and possible extensions
7) Long-term plans & suggestions for future projects proposals
