About
What is PRISM?
PRISM (Digital Twins for Personalised Radiotherapy through Integrated Simulation and Modelling) is an international networking event bringing together researchers, clinicians, industry representatives, regulators, and patient advocates to explore the future of Digital Twins in personalised radiotherapy. Through scientific presentations, interdisciplinary discussions, and collaborative workshops, PRISM aims to foster new connections and build a shared vision for the next generation of patient-specific cancer care.
Why is it important?
Radiotherapy is becoming increasingly data-rich, generating vast amounts of clinical, imaging, biological, and treatment information. Digital Twins offer a unique opportunity to integrate these heterogeneous data sources with mechanistic models and artificial intelligence, enabling more accurate predictions of treatment response, toxicity, and long-term outcomes. PRISM addresses the scientific, clinical, technological, and regulatory challenges that must be overcome to translate this vision into clinical practice.
Why should I attend?
PRISM offers a unique forum to engage with leading experts across computational modelling, artificial intelligence, radiobiology, medical physics, radiation oncology, and regulatory science. Participants will gain insights into emerging technologies, identify opportunities for collaboration, contribute to the development of future research roadmaps, and help shape the evolution of trustworthy Digital Twin technologies for precision oncology.
When and Where?
PRISM will take place from 18–21 January 2027 at Politecnico di Milano, one of Europe's leading institutions in engineering, located in the vibrant city of Milan, Italy. The event will combine scientific sessions, networking activities, and collaborative workshops in an inspiring interdisciplinary environment.
Registration will open soon, and further information regarding the programme, speakers, and participation opportunities will be announced on this website.
