As the academic year comes to an end, edufin@polimi, the financial education project coordinated by the QFinLab of the Department of Mathematics at Politecnico di Milano, takes stock of its activities and results.
During the 2025–2026 school year, the initiative involved 362 secondary school classes (112 lower secondary and 250 upper secondary classes) and 7,207 students, marking a further increase compared to the previous academic year.
The educational pathways addressed a wide range of topics at the intersection of finance, technology, and sustainability, including:
- Flipped Classroom
- Fundamentals of Financial Education
- The Finance Labyrinth
- Digital Payment Systems and Fraud Prevention
- Cryptocurrencies: Between Finance and Technology
- Sustainability and Climate Risk
In addition, 884 students completed their PCTO (school-to-work transition programme) through QFinLab initiatives.
The academic year will conclude with the participation of 28 students in the upcoming EduFin Summer School, scheduled for the end of June.
These figures confirm the continued growth of the initiative and the increasing interest shown by schools in educational activities that combine financial literacy, digital innovation, and sustainability-related topics.
