
Domenico Brunetto is an Associate Professor of Mathematics Education and an active member of the FDS Laboratory of the Department of Mathematics at the Politecnico di Milano.
His scientific activity lies at the intersection of mathematical modelling, educational research, and didactic innovation. He is the author of scientific articles in international journals and regularly participates in national and international conferences in the field of Mathematics Education. He coordinates and collaborates on funded research projects that explore the use of technology to support the development of mathematical competences, instructional design, and the analysis of educational practices. Since 2014, he has been the author of many MOOCs on the platform www.pok.polimi.it.
In this short video, he explains how mathematical and modelling research can be applied to teaching and learning processes, and how mathematics can become a tool for understanding, designing, and transforming the world.
